Doomsday science in the park
Centennial Park is running a school holiday activity tomorrow (8 July) that looks fabulous.
What if everything fails? No more computers, no more phones or running water? “We will look at disasters, from a human and natural perspective, and investigate some of the skills that you might need to survive one. Make generators and water filters, learn tricks of communication and codes in times of crisis. And what kind of doomsday scenario would be complete without zombies…”
It runs for the whole day and is open to 8-14-year-olds.
Full details can be found here.
What a seriously clever way of engaging kids in science!
