Geeky things to do in the April school holidays
Tickets are now available for the Sydney Brick Show to see all things LEGO. For those into computers and electronics there are the activities at Thinkspace, and for the dinosaur lovers amongst us there is a holiday programme at the Australian Musuem. The CSIRO has a whole range of activities scheduled, including Superhero Science and a tour of a nuclear reactor.
Leaving Earth behind, there are activities at the Sydney Observatory. Bicentennial Park has robot building and liquid nitrogen shows amongst other things in a series of Fizzics Education workshops. Both Fizzics and CSIRO are also running programmes north of the Harbour through Professor Plum’s.
At the tail end of the holidays Steam punk, historical reenactment and general good fun can be found at Ironfest.
Finally, although it’s after the holidays, tickets are also on sale for the Toy & Game Expo.
