Young ICT Explorers open for 2017 business
Young ICT Explorers is back again with registrations opening for 2017. YICTE is one of the most accessible and inspiring events for young makers on the Australian calendar, so it’s great to see it back.
YICTE has grown like Topsy over the last few years and some changes have been made. The most obvious is splitting the Sydney event by years over two days. The organisers have also pulled back geographically, which I really hope doesn’t indicate a lack of resources. Somewhat counter-intuitively the Sydney and Canberra events are being combined. The Hobart event is going virtual. On the positive side, going virtual means that the competition is now open to rural participants and others who might not be able to get to the city-based events.
