National Youth Science Forum applications open 1 March

On 1 March applications will open for January 2018’s National Youth Science Forum (NYSF).

The NYSF is a 12-day residential program for students entering Year 12 who are passionate about science, technology, engineering and maths. The NYSF program aims to show participants the wide variety of study and career options in STEM fields.

600 students will attend the NYSF spread over three sessions – two in Canberra and one in Brisbane. Applications are open to students currently in year 11 in 2017, to attend the program in the summer holidays before entering year 12 in 2018.

In a rather unusual approach, the NYSF requires students to get the backing of their local Rotary Club when applying.

Applications will remain open until 31 May. For all the details see the website.
