Superhero Tech Girls looking for mentors

The Tech Girls Movement. TGM, is a great initiative. TGM is all about getting more girls into technology subjects and careers, and they do it in an innovative way, through story-telling.

We present role models and the opportunities afforded by technology careers in a refreshing way, through storytelling. The campaign is unique in that it lasts more than one day or one event, it is long-term, a movement.

TGM produces a book, selects ambassadors, and runs a competition. They are looking for mentors in the search for the next Tech Girl Superhero. They are looking for women who:

• Study or work in a STEM field and would like to help a team of girls build confidence with technology and learn hands on entrepreneurial skills
• Can be available for 1-2 hours per hour each week from the 1st of May to the 31st of July, 2017
• Don’t need to know how to build an app but are willing to guide the teams of girls to the information they need, adhering to deadlines etc in a project management type role
• Are willing to get a blue card for working with children
