Apply to be in the audience for TEDxSydney 2016
TEDxSydney returns to the Sydney Opera House on Wednesday 25 May 2016, but you can just rock up and buy tickets. You need to apply.
Applications to attend will be accepted via the TEDxSydney website from Tuesday 8 March at 10am.
The 7th annual TEDxSydney event will be “a full day of programming, blending talks, performances and films with delicious food and plenty of opportunities for networking and engagement with the TEDxSydney community”. The TEDxSydney organisers actively curate the audience to ensure it reflects the full diversity of the community: “A TEDxSydney audience is unlike any other – an egalitarian mix of everyone from interns to executives, students to retirees, accountants to artists. We aim to represent everyone from all walks of life and all stages of their career.”
The application needs to cover: What makes you an interesting member of our audience? How can you help us to spread ideas? How is innovation, creativity and new thinking reflected in what you do and what you’ve achieved? What will other members of the community want to learn from you?
Applications are open for two weeks and it’s definitely not first-come, first-served so there’s no rush.
Tickets will also go on sale next Tuesday for TEDxYouth@Sydney – the event for 16-26 year olds, held at the Sydney Opera House on the same day as TEDxSydney, Wednesday 25 May 2016.
