Apple adds Sydney public transport to Maps app

It’s taken a while, but Apple has finally added public transport directions for Sydney to its Maps app.

Google has had public transport directions for quite a while, and of course there are a bunch of dedicated public transport apps – but Apple has lagged the field in this. Now you can get public transport directions from within Maps.

A few test comparisons seem to have the feature working perfectly well. There are tiny differences between the way Google and Apple display the information but nothing that seems to be particularly significant. So if you’re an Apple aficionado the Sydney public transport is now at your fingertips.
