UNSW’s CompClub for high school students is back on
The University of NSW’s, CompClub is back for another term of teaching high school kids to code. CompClub is a student-run UNSW organisation that promotes computing to high school students throughout the year. Through a variety of holiday and 10-week workshops, we aim to create a fun, collaborative environment for students to develop their interests and hone their programming skills alongside like-minded students.
Here’s what they have to say for themselves:
“We have an exciting semester ahead, and we wanted to take the chance to let you know about some of the 10-week workshops which are coming up!
Starting from the 18th of August, we will be running our Introduction to Game Development workshops. This will involve developing fun and exciting games using the popular game development tool GameMaker. Learn to create your own unique world!
As well as this, starting from the 19th of August, we will be running ourIntroduction to Programming workshops. These workshops will be conducted in the popular, modern programming language, Python! A great opportunity to learn how to write varying computer programs from scratch!
