Great Debate: what’s the weirdest research
Which field of research is the weirdest of all?
That’s the question which The Science Nation is tackling head-on as part of National Science Week. To find the answer The Science Nation will hold a debate tournament that sees eight prominent researchers compete to convince the audience that they do the weirdest, wackiest, craziest research in the world. With additional rounds of improvised, audience-inspired, topics this Great Debate is: “90 minutes of science & laughs that promises to be fun for people of all ages”.
It’s happening all round the country but the one that interests us is on the afternoon of 22 August in Sydney. Speakers include our favourite physicist Adam Micolich.
It’s at the Powerhouse (get in while you still can); tickets are $15 Adult and $8 Concession and can be booked online.
