An interview with me!
A while ago I had a lovely lunch with the folk from the Interaction Consortium (the IC). They produced an interview from my burger-driven ramblings.
They described me as ‘inimitable’ which is a lot better than the ‘inimical’ I thought they said when I first read their tweet:
We talked to the inimitable @geekinsydney about teaching kids to code & what’s wrong with our school system…
There’s something very self referential in quoting myself being quoted, but here’s my favourite bit:
No matter what you’re teaching, whether it’s maths, science, or English, writing a program should be seen as part of the teaching process…To write a program means understanding a problem.
