Details emerge on Escape Hunt Sydney

escape hunt sydneyThe people setting up Escape Hunt Sydney managed to extricate themselves from the labyrinth for a few minutes yesterday and provide some more details on the attraction’s launch.

Moving the Escape Hunt idea from Bangkok to Sydney has involved some careful planning to incorporate Australia’s higher costs. They have now found suitable premises and managed to land an “amazing property right in the center of the CBD”. They will be located on Level 4, 393 George Street.

At this stage they are looking to open around July/August. It’s not a hard date as it is dependent on their Development Application which the City of Sydney Council has to approve before they can launch the construction process. The DA can take up to 10 weeks and the construction/fit out will be about 6 weeks. Council approval will determine the opening hours, but they are looking for 10am to 11pm.

Once they are up and running they will have a total of six rooms offering three different and unique adventures (two identical rooms per adventure so groups can compete against one another). The adventures will be completely different from the ones in Bangkok and themed to give a period feel of the The Rocks of 100 years ago.

In terms of pricing they will, apparently, be around $30-40 per person depending on the group size. They have yet to formalize the exact pricing and there will definitely be a promotional launch price.

The  Escape Hunt Sydney website is up and running and people can sign up for updates on www.sydney.escapehunt.com or can Follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/sydney.escapehunt.
