Rudolph is real!

Some reindeer really do have red noses.

It turns out scientists have put reindeer onto a treadmill (which must have been entertaining) and then watched their inner glow become revealed on infrared cameras. And some reindeer, but not all, have bundles of blood vessels on their noses to help regulate their heat.
