Where are all the women chess players?

The giant chess board in Hyde Park has a big traffic notice board sitting behind it making a series of witty comments.

“At least these bishops change their positions” may be quite pointed given the proximity to the Cathedral. I liked “More giant plastic queens on Oxford street”.

But, given the players and watching crowd, the question “where are all the women chess players? seemed to be a good one.
