Wisetech and Grok team up to offer free Microbits to coding students
The Wisetech Code Launch 2018 uses the fabulous Grok platform to offer a free coding course top students. If students complete the course at either beginner or intermediate level, their school will get BBC Microbits. That seems like a win-win offer.
Code Launch teaches Python, and is open to all Australian schools. It is suitable for students with no prior coding experience or more experienced coders. It runs until 30th November. The number of Microbits available to a school depends on how many students complete a course – the more students the more Microbits up to a maximum of 20 Microbits per school.
I’m struggling to see any downside in getting involved in this program.
