The Hour of Code is the reason that no school child should be without some coding in their life. Really, the process of doing some coding for a short period of time has been made so unbelievably easy and fun that there is absolutely no excuse for anyone to be missing out.
From December 4th-10th tens of millions of students will gather all around the world to participate in the annual Hour of Code. For many, it will be their first introduction to computer science, but for others, “it has become an annual celebration of computer science and the movement to expand opportunity”.
There’s a wealth of material and support on the Hour of Code website – something for every level – but the map of sites in Sydney is looking way to sparse at the moment.
So really what more is there to say but go and sign up now.
