Sleek Geeks Science Eureka Prizes are open for business

The Sleek Geeks Science Eureka Prizes are a fabulous national science film competition for Primary and Secondary school students. The prize encourages students to explore a scientific concept, discovery or invention, or test their own scientific hypothesis in a 1-3 minute film.

There is a prize pool of $10,000 up for grabs to be shared between the winners and their schools, and finalist representatives also win a trip to Sydney for the Australian Museum Eureka Prizes Award Dinner.

One of the nice things about these prizes is that they are backed by a whole pile of resources for teachers. Also, because it’s about making a short film, they are very accessible to everyone.

Entries are now open. They will close 7pm on Friday 5 May 2017. For all the details start with this page on the Australian Museum website.
