Australian Museum Late Nights in Summer

There’s no question Summer has arrived in Sydney. So how about a geeky venue to while away a couple of hours on a warm Wednesday evening?

The Australian Museum is opening their doors to evening visitors every Wednesday night.

Bring a friend or colleague after work for 2-for-1 entry including Spiders – Alive & Deadly and enjoy sunset from the terrace of the Museum’s rooftop restaurant and bar, No. 1 William.

Or you can meet a scientist, watch an artist making work inspired by the collection, witness a spider being milked in the Venom Lab and listen to live music in the Atrium.

That’s all very summery and cool.

When: Wednesdays nights, 4 Jan – 22 Feb
Cost: Buy-1-get-1-free! $22 Adult, $15 Concession, plus booking fee

It’s also worth noting you can see in the New Year from the rooftop terrace too.
