Get your Sydney Mini Maker Faire application in soon
Applications are open to be a stallholder at the 2016 Sydney Mini Maker Faire.
Taking place across the weekend of 13-14 August, the Sydney Mini Maker Faire brings together makers of all creeds to showcase their work, share their skills and inspire new creations. About the only thing I don’t like about the Mini Maker Faire is that after several years of operation the Powerhouse hasn’t expanded it into a full-fledged Maker Faire on a par with its international counterparts.
Regardless of my wish for ‘even-betterness’, the Faire is a joy to attend and, from all accounts, an equal joy to participate in. Stalls are available for both commercial and non-commercial exhibitors. This year’s event will take place as part of the Sydney Science Festival (11-21 August).
Applications close Midnight Wednesday 1 June. It’s free to submit an application and the Mini Maker Faire team has prepared a guide to help you know what they are looking for in a great Maker Faire stall.
Applicants will receive notification of their acceptance into the program by 10 June and the full Faire program will be released in late June.
