Get involved in the Sydney Science Festival

The Sydney Science Festival, that beautiful, lovely thing, returns from 11−21 August 2016 with “11 huge days of hands-on workshops, exhibitions, talks by some of the world’s best researchers, family events and panel discussions involving experiment extraordinaires”.

Led by the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (and there’s another reason not to move the Museum), as part of National Science Week, the Festival brings together research institutions, museums, galleries, universities, businesses, scientists, engineers and community organisations to discover, discuss and debate science at venues across Sydney.

The full festival program will be released in late June, but expressions of interest to be part of the 2016 program are now open. So, if you have an idea for an event, talk, workshop, tour or exhibition, get in touch with the organisers.  You might already be planning an event as part of National Science Week … submit your idea to be part of Sydney Science Festival too!  If you hadn’t thought about it, now’s the time.
