New community forum for makers

12_1Little Bird Electronics has launched a new community forum for makers.

The forum has the potential to be a useful resource in addition to the overseas discussion groups many of us rely on for information.

This forum is for Australian makers and educators who are interested in design and engineering-oriented pursuits such as interactive artwork, electronics, robotics, programming and much more! That means that you can come here and talk about your projects, and ask questions about maker hardware.

I’ve long liked Little Bird as a an electronics parts supplier, although they do have increasing local competition on that front. But they also do a great job of teaching, mentoring and generally being nice people in the community.

As the forum is new there’s not a lot there yet. Probably the most interesting current feature is a list of all Maker events in Australia.

Take a look at the new Maker community forum here.
