Google Science Fair 2015 – open for brilliance

googlescifairThe Google Science Fair has just kicked off for 2015.

I dearly love watching the Science Fair develop as it’s a chance to see young people from around the World do some amazing things. The amazing things don’t change the fact we need more, much more STEM education, but they do say that amongst the kids actually studying science there are some stars that are going to shine bright in the future.

Here’s the official description:

Science is about observing and experimenting. It’s about exploring unanswered questions, solving problems through curiosity, learning as you go and always trying again. That’s the spirit behind the fifth annual Google Science Fair, kicking off today. Together with LEGO Education, National Geographic, Scientific American and Virgin Galactic, we’re calling on all young researchers, explorers, builders, technologists and inventors to try something ambitious. Something imaginative, or maybe even unimaginable. Something that might just change the world around us.

Students aged 13-18 can submit projects until May 18.

The Google Science Fair website has every single bit of information you could possible want.
