You simply can’t live in Sydney without something of an obsession with real estate, but that’s not why I love these whimsical property calculations from Motovo in the US. The thing I love is the research that goes into them and using maths to extrapolate a result.

This is the sort of thing we should have high school students doing to make maths seem relevant. Maybe then we wouldn’t have so many dumping a decent maths education in favour of a better HSC result.
