Ultimo Science Festival returns for 2013
One of my favourite Sydney events is back. The Ultimo Science Festival will be on 12-22 September 2103.
The program hasn’t yet been released, but they say “There is something for everyone – family fun, talks, exhibitions and forums, plus a program for secondary school students. It’s not just for geeks or scientists! ”
One interesting program they have got details on is the School Program for high school students on September 16 or 17. It includes:
- a science careers panel, featuring young scientists and post-graduate students speaking about their experiences in high school and their journey to their science careers;
- the choice of up to two workshops, talks or science shows; and
- access to exhibitions at the Powerhouse Museum and Ultimo TAFE.
