Happy Birthday Discovery Centre

Image: Will Clayton, from flickr creative commonsThe Powerhouse Museum’s Discovery Centre turns five this coming weekend and is celebrating with a free open day. There will be live music performances, make-and-do activities, motorbikes, muscle cars, talks, behind-the-scenes tours and much more. The whole thing is curated by guest artistic director Michael Atherton, Professor of Music, University of Western Sydney. It will be interesting to see what impact a curator can have on a day of activities.

Anyway, it’s all happening this Saturday 10 March from 10am-4pm. The full details are here.
