Code.comp starts

Code.Comp 2014 has started.  Code.comp is Grok Learning’s learn and compete program for the Northern Hemisphere (the NCSS Challenge is our own version) – which explains the locally awkward timing. That said, there’s nothing preventing local schools being involved.

Each of the five weeks of Code.Comp starts at midnight, Monday, GMT and finishes at 9pm, Sunday, GMT – that means it starts at 11am Monday morning here in Sydney if my maths is right. Students can submit their answers for points at any time within that week. The first week is a friendly week to get everyone started, so there are no points for this week’s questions.

The NCSS Challenge 2014 will be starting Monday, August 4th, and running until Sunday September 7th.
