IRL Patient 0 opened for booking a few minutes ago. Patient 0 is a fully immersive live action real life, multiplayer, first person shooter, role-playing game. In other words you get to dress up and play through a realistic story-line shooting zombies. This thing looks like just so much fun.

As the advertising says: “From the moment you purchase your ticket, you will be taken on a journey into a completely realised universe of our design, culminating in you and 5 of your friends having to fight your way through a zombie infested building, solving puzzles, collecting information and trying to stay alive.”

Patient 0 was originally crowd-funded on Pozible.com, but now anyone can buy tickets. They’re not cheap but this looks like a pretty special experience. If it even comes close to living up to its description it should be a triumph.

Full details on the IRL Shooter website.

Now how do we get them to bring this to Sydney?
